Cover of the Week - Amazing Spider-Man & American Vampire

Welcome to another edition of Cover of the Week! Every week we take a look at some of our favorite covers, and we tell you why that is. This week Ryan L. and me are up to task, and this column is brought to you by the letter "A" for "Awesome covers!", as both titles start with that letter. Hit the jump to see  them.

Ryan L's Cover of the Week - Amazing Spider-Man #625

Ryan L.: I'm not a reader of Amazing Spider-Man, I like the character but do not love him, however there is no doubt this cover is some quality eye-catching art. I think it's the yellow of the background juxtaposing against the clash of the Rhinos that hold my eye. I also never realized before that the Rhino suits have little rhino eyes on the sides...weird.

Matt's Cover of the Week - American Vampire #1

Matt: I think it's a pretty known fact that I absolutely love Rafael Albuquerque's cover works. He has the ability to create simple yet incredibly powerful and iconic images, using sometimes just three or four colors. This one is a perfect example of that.

Runners-Up: X-Factor Forever #1, Irredeemable #12, The Shield # 7
