Crisis On Infinite Arts - Sean Hartter's Comic Movie Posters

Sean Hartter is a comic and graphic pop artist who throws his hat into many rings. I've used his Iron Fist knock off movie poster a few times before but this time we're going to look at plenty of other comic movie posters he's created, and it's an eclectic display as Hartter creates psychedelic and strange looks into the movies that never were and can't quite possibly be anymore. I mean, who wouldn't want to see a Bowie Joker? Or a Mario Bava version of Batman? Hit the jump to see plenty more of his crazy layouts and casting decisions.

Sean Hartter can be found at his blog, and from there it's up to you to follow his link rolls and educate yourself in all things Hartter. You can also see plenty of other posters like this that aren't comic related, they're definitely worth it.

Ignore the baiting and look towards James Coburn as Bullseye and William Friedkin holding the lens, this would be awesome!

Tell me you wouldn't line up around the block to see this flick?

Where's the solitary fist for solidarity raised high?

Man, Brando would have been so much better served there. 20/20 hindsight, I guess.

I don't even know how all of this fits in the one image, let alone the one flick...

This just kind of creeps me out...

Just glad to see Steel Serpent gets a run as one of the characters.

Curry seriously would have been good in this, but who would John Saxon play? (I love John Saxon!)

Just having Bronson wandering with a pram should be enough of an arthouse experience.

Which poster did you like the best? I'd have to go with the two Batman ones though there really is something about that Wolverine flick that appeals to me, maybe it's Eastwood but most likely it's Peckinpah. Let us know in the comments what you think and if you're so inclined feel free to try your hand at this style and make your own, if you can.

i love the choice of john cage for the score in 'lone wolf and cub'

I'm guessing that the Plastic Man movie is rated R because of the sex scenes.

In the 60's and 70's Eastwood looked just like Wolverine. I would have loved to see that. I'd still wanna see that, actually.

well, that would make more sense with Elongated Man. I think that'd just be a straight porno.

Actually, I would have though Harvey Keitel would have been a better choice for Wolverine.

The Batman and Joker poster's are just perfect. They are like dream movies you would wish for your entire life.

@Hartter - Saxon as Batman - now that I'd buy for a dollar. Always loved Saxon ever since Tenebrae, ha.

Cool. It's kind of odd that most of them are rated R and one is rated X. But those are cool posters.
