Covering all the SDCC announcements, Jason Aaron went on his blog to clarify that despite the fact that his creator owned series Scalped is coming to an end soon, he will continue working on creator owned material. He added that "The wheels are already turning in regards to my next creator-owned book. And Guera and I are already talking about our next project as well", though he doesn't really specify if they are one in the same.
What really got my attention though is that Aaron is currently writing FIVE ongoing series: Scalped (still 8 issues or so left in it), PunisherMAX, Wolverine, and the two upcoming books Wolverine and the X-Men and Incredible Hulk. That's an impressive workload any way you look it, and the fact that he is already thinking about his next project(s?) is nothing short of amazing. It would probably pretty easy for him to just continue doing work-for-hire and pay the bills, but deciding to do more creator owned work is commendable. For that, we salute you, Mr. Aaron!
