Cover of the Week: Transformers and Flash

Covers, covers, everywhere, and only two get chosen for the Cover of the Week. Who wins, who loses, and who gets the runner-up spots? Hit the jump to find our choices for the week.

Ken's Cover of the Week - Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye #5 by Alex Milne

Ken: Smashed transformers, that's nothing new, they get blown up every episode or issue. But to see Ratchet kind of rust away, it's something new that you don't connect with the franchise. Whether you know the character's name or not, just seeing this makes you wonder what's up. Is it a Virus? Acid? Zombie robot? A super hurricane?

Grant's Cover of the Week - Flash #9 by Francis Manapul

Grant: Now this is a cover!  Francis Manapul manages to pull off a cover that both looks gorgeous and is surprisingly representative of the actual story within.  I love the way the gorillas are restraining Flash.  I'm especially fond of how it looks like Grodd is just going to start chowing down on Flash's cranium in this shot.  On top of that the silver apes standing in the background looking sad is a nice touch.  And did I mention that this whole thing is gorgeous?

Runner-Ups:  Justice League Dark #9, Deadpool #55, All Star Western #9
