Cover of the Week - Daredevil and Untold Tales of the Punisher MAX

Coming at you right here and right now are the Covers of the Week!  This time around we have a circulatory system and a dude walking across a field.  Pretty thrilling stuff, eh?  Believe me when I say the covers are waaay cooler than they sound.  However, the best way to know for sure would be to hit the jump to give them a look for yourself, so why don't you do just that?

Ken's Cover of the Week - Daredevil #18 by Paolo Rivera

Ken: This is a neat take on showing the lead character in red, by going to a circulatory view. There's even the little touch of the logo not being completely red, so the white at the top makes it look like it's running out of "fuel" for lack of a better word. If this were to continue as the arc goes on to reflect Matt's mental health, that would be a nice touch.

Grant's Cover of the Week - Untold Tales of the Punisher MAX #4 by Nic Klein

Grant: I ain't reading these untold tales, but covers like these sure make me think maybe I should be.  This simple image of Frank, wearing the Punisher getup, marching across an open field with soldiers and helicopters is really eye catching.  The strong orange is a nice choice, really drawing the eye to the book, and the contrast of the dark blacks really pop from the page.

Runner-Ups:  New Mutants #49, Unwritten #41, Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures #6
