The weekend is unfortunately coming to its conclusion, but on the bright side, that means it's time for our Covers of the Week! This time around, we've some flat Bat posing and some sinister cemeteries. So hit the jump to check these out, along with our honourable mentions!
Ken's Cover of the Week - Batwing #26 by Darwyn Cooke
Ken: A Darwyn Cooke cover? Is this DC from 2001? Nice flat palette with a lack of outlines being seen in the artwork, Batwing's really showcasing the Batman Beyond influence, it's a nice, cool cover. Maybe Cooke will come back and draw a Catwoman cover too.
Grant: Mike Mignola is one of the best cover artists around, so it's always a pleasure to see his work on the racks. This week's Hellboy in Hell is a more subdued offering from Mignola, but he packs a lot into the image, including lots of bits and pieces that tell parts of the issue's wider story. It also works really well with the cover dress, which is a plus since that's how it actually appears in stores.
